Kalinaw Resort is located on the Island of Siargao in the province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines. Siargao faces the Pacific Ocean giving it a special climate compared to the rest of the Philippines.  This location also gives to Siargao a world-class surfing wave - Cloud 9. Our rainy season starts in December and finishes in February. During this season the weather is mostly good with occasional heavy rain showers to remind you why it's called “the rainy season”. The rest of the year is the dry season. Siargao Island is the perfect place to discover different landscapes because of its diversity. From the islets to the lagoons fringed by coral reef, from the mangroves to the waterfalls, and from the white sand beaches to the rainforest, you'll be as impressed as us at its beauty.
